Beautiful Election Day
Air Quality Report (As of 8AM)
All reporting stations are good to moderate.
Warm weather will continue early this week as high pressure dominates. A weak upper level low to our south will throw some high cloud cover at us today, but will yield no precipitation. General offshore flow will continue but weaken in the coming days, allowing a bit more of a sea breeze to develop on the coast—and thus slightly cooler temperatures. A deep trough of low pressure will arrive on the west coast Friday, bringing much cooler weather and a couple chances of light showers. Stay tuned!
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a few high clouds moving through—and perhaps some fog along the coast late. A bit cooler, with coastal highs in the 60s-70s and upper 70s to around 90ºF inland.
Overnight: Clear and cool for most areas with lows in the upper 30s to 40s for inland valleys and 40s to low 50s for the coast. It will remain warm in the hills, however, with most areas only dropping into the 60s.
Wednesday: Another day of nice weather. Mostly sunny with moderate temperatures. Coastal highs in the 60s-70s and upper 70s to upper 80s inland.
Extended: High temps level off through Thursday under mostly sunny skies and only occasional fog on the coast. A big shift in temperatures will come on Friday, however as most areas will drop into the 50s-60s with gusty northwesterly winds. Two weak disturbances, once on Friday and the other on Sunday may bring a few light showers to the region.
