Cooler and Breezy Workweek
A trough will then slowly dip down the coast, cooling us into next week. We’ll see an increase in low clouds and breezy weather. Some warming then expected by the end of the week.
Monday: Partly cloudy on start to the day, with mostly sunny skies by the lunchtime. Gusty conditions this afternoon. Highs will be in the 60s-70s on the coast with 80s-90s inland.

… for the near coastal waters of Monterey County from Point Pinos down to Point Piedras Blancas from 2PM Monday through 3AM Tuesday.
-Northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 7 to 12 feet at 9 seconds expected.
Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe conditions.
Overnight: Coastal clouds with patchy fog and drizzle possible. Expect coastal lows in the upper 40s to low 50s with 40s for inland valleys and 60s up in the hills.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy on the coast with inland sun. Highs will be a touch cooler with 60s-70s on the coast with 80s to low 90s inland. Gusty at times.
Extended: Temperatures will warm up by a few degrees by the end of the week. Winds stay breezy.
