Less rainy week ahead

The Central Coast will see a drier workweek, with some shower chances. Temperatures will also be a bit warmer by the end of the week.

Monday: Fog and cloudy conditions to start the day. By this afternoon, we'll see partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Overnight: Partly cloudy skies with fog possible. Lows will be in the 40s for most areas.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy skies, with light rain possible by the evening. Highs will be a touch cooler, with temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Extended: Rain showers will be possible overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Temperatures then warm up a touch by the end of the week with additions shower chances Friday and into the weekend.

The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for December 14th - 20th calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and BELOW normal precipitation.
