Near Record Warmth!

Getting Warmer! Sunday will see temps 10-15degrees above average in some locations. High pressure will dominate our weather through the upcoming weekend, leading to well above normal temperatures! Big changes return mid-week with moderate to heavy rain still possible Wednesday through Thursday and unsettled weather through the rest of the week.—see the “extended” section below for details.

AIR QUALITY: Good

Sunday: Mostly sunny and even warmer high temps in the upper 60s to mid 70s and even warmer in some spots, and light winds. Near record warmth.

Monday: Sunny and warm once again with temps above average with highs upper 60s to mid 70s.

Extended: Warm, dry weather will continue through Tuesday, peaking on Sunday with potential record heat. Then, things get interesting. Rain moving in mid day Wednesday and staying unsettled through the first half of the weekend and turning cooler as well. Rain could be heavy at times Wednesday through Thursday with possible rainfall amounts between 2-3 inches for the coastal ranges of Santa Cruz and Big Sur.
