Daytime lane closure of Highway 17 to continue until Friday
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- UPDATE ON APRIL 20, 2023 AT 2:26 PM- Caltrans District 4 will continue with a scheduled lane closure of one northbound lane on Highway 17 for tree removal work taking place in Los Gatos.
The lane closure will be from Bear Creek Road to Summit Road on Northbound Highway 17 in Los Gatos. The closure will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Officials said that those closures are needed to happen to safely remove fallen and leaning trees that have been impacted by recent winter storms.
The tree removal work on Southbound Highway 17 has been completed.
Overnight lane closures of Highway 17 to begin on April 17
Caltrans District 4 announced that there will be an overnight lane closure of one northbound and one southbound lane of Highway 17 between Hebard Road and Highway 9 starting on Friday night.
The overnight closure will be from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M, Monday thru Friday.
Crews will be working on pavement rehabilitation, highway striping, guardrail repair and highway maintenance. Construction is expected to be completed by July.
