Suspects shoot at store clerk, rob Hollister Quik Stop

The Hollister Police Department needs help identifying two armed suspects who robbed a convenience store and shot at the store clerk.

According to HPD, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Lt. D. Winn said a man walked into the Quik Stop at 10 San Felipe Road, pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and made various demands.

As the clerk made a run for the door, the suspect shot at him, hitting the cash register. The clerk was able to escape uninjured.

A second suspect walked into the store and the two men stole various items.

Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic man 18-20-years-old, short and thin. He was wearing a black beanie and gray sweatshirt with black/white jogging pants. He was carrying a silver colored 9mm handgun.

The second suspect is also a Hispanic man 18-20-years-old, tall and thin. He was wearing a black hoodie and pants, thin mustache and a blue backpack.
