San Jose slain officer laid to rest next week
San Jose Police said the officer who was shot and killed while responding to a call for help will be laid to rest next week.
Funeral services for Officer Michael Johnson will take place Thursday at the San Jose SAP Arena.
Johnson was one of several officers called to reports of a suicidal man Tuesday night.
Suspect Scott Dunham, 57, allegedly opened fire killing Johnson. Officers fired back, shooting and killing Dunham.
Johnson was a 14 year veteran of the force.
