UPDATE: Power back on in Seaside

Pacific Gas & Electric reports power is back on to some 1,000 customers who were without Tuesday evening.

1,028 customers are without power in Seaside, according to Pacific Gas & Electric’s outage map.

The map says power went out around 6:30 Tuesday night, in a large area spanning from Canyon Del Rey to Hilby. The outage covers a lot of area between General Jim Moore Blvd. to the area just before the Monterey Bay Christian School.

The site estimates power will be back on by 9:15 Tuesday night.

According to its website, the company has a crew on scene working to determine the cause.
