Warmin’ Up!

High pressure will build as we head into midweek. This will send temps above normal, with more sunshine! Another weak system is also poised to drop down the coast later in the week, which would lead to cooler, cloudier conditions and perhaps the next chance of rain.

Overnight: Widespread low clouds for coastal areas and inland valleys. Lows in the 40s to low 50s. Drizzle possible.

Monday: Widespread coastal clouds to start the day. Inland spots will see sunshine by noon, with decreasing clouds on the coast throughout the day. Highs 60s on the coast with 60s to low 70s inland.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies with warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the 60s to 70s on the coast 70s inland.

Extended: We’ll see warmer, sunnier conditions both on the coast and inland through Thursday. Inland spots may approach the 80s. In fact, highs are likely to push above normal for this time of year. A weather system will slide down the coast toward the end of the week with potential rain chances.

The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for April 18th-24th calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and BELOW normal precipitation.
