Cool and unsettled for Sunday
A passing cold front brought scattered light showers to the Central Coast on Saturday.
As showers diminish Saturday night, overnight lows will drop into the mid 30s in the coastal hills with low 40s elsewhere.
After mostly dry conditions on Sunday, another storm system will target central and southern California, bringing light to moderate rain on Monday and Tuesday.
High pressure will begin to build on Wednesday, bringing warmer, dryer conditions through the end of the week.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy and cool with isolated showers possible, mainly near the coast. Highs in the 50s to low 60s. Occasionally breezy on the exposed coast.
Sunday night: Cloudy with showers likely. Overnight lows in the mid 40s.
Extended: Slightly warmer with a better chance of rain Monday & Tuesday. Rain chances will increase the farther south you go both days. Highs in the 60s. A shower may linger into Wednesday, but a clearing, drying, and warming trend can then be expected through the end of the week.
