Cooling Trend Begins

A cooling trend begins but still warm inland and still above normal! However, temps will be much more bearable today. Temperatures will continue on a downward trend throughout the rest of the week. Expect more clouds and a marine layer returns with a rain threat late week into Saturday. An upper low pressure system to the northwest will dive southward bringing a slight chance for light precipitation. Otherwise expect a pleasant week and weekend.

AIR QUALITY: Good to Moderate

Today:
Mostly sunny with a few high clouds moving through and a few low clouds on the coast. Warm with coastal highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and 80s to around 99ºF inland. Windy up valleys late in the day.

Overnight: Increasing clouds in the coastal areas with lows in the low to mid 50s to mainly 60s inland with mostly clear skies.

Wednesday: Morning coastal clouds then mostly sunny and temps still above average with temps in mid to upper 60 to low 70s at coast and u to 99 degrees inland.

Extended:
More seasonable temperatures are expected for the remainder of the week with low clouds on the coast at times. A system will pass by late in the week and may give us a slight chance of rain. We are monitoring.
