Cooling Trend Continues Before Slight Warmup
A trough to our north will spread cooler temps southward into the Central Coast and temps will continue to fall. Temps Sunday about 5-10 degrees cooler inland and today will bring even cooler air with another 5-degree drop. The deep marine layer is keeping the coastal communities cloudy through late morning and cool while inland areas see plenty of sun. Troughing from the north will dominate the region, however there may be a slight uptick in temps by Wednesday. Tune in for all the details and your local forecast.
The Perseids meteor shower peaks tonight and tomorrow night with best viewing away from the coast after midnight. It's possible to see 50-100 meteors an hour! Be away from city lights and look to the northeast sky.
