Peak Week Temperatures on a Tuesday

Another beautiful, quiet day across the Central Coast! Temps will stay at or slightly above normal. Trending warmer for today then temps will begin to cool back down. Mainly clear skies and a compressed marine layer so tonight. After midweek, we'll see a return of low stratus clouds in the coastal areas. A stronger system in the Pacific Northwest will slide south along with a cold front and bring a chance of rain for areas north of the viewing area, but we will see cooler temps, clouds and gusty winds.

AIR QUALITY: Good

Tuesday: Very pleasant with sunny and warmer temps. Today will be peak warmth then changes for the rest of the week as temps fall. Coastal temps upper 60s to 70s and inland 80s to upper 90s.

Extended: Temps will begin to trend downward Wednesday through Saturday. Then a warmup as we head into next week. Quiet weather but expect more coastal clouds and those cooler temps late week through Saturday. Some gusty winds, low stratus clouds, fog/drizzle at the coast will return as well. However, the cooldown will be short lived. We'll warm up again next week.
