Scattered Showers, Still Cool
SALINAS, Calif. (KION) – Sun, clouds and scattered rain showers! A low pressure system passing over the Central Coast is bringing bands of rain and a slight chance of a thunderstorm, and will continue through the evening. Rain will be light to moderate with brief heavier downpours and will lessen overnight. A lingering shower may be possible Sunday morning then slow clearing but dry. High Pressure builds for next week with dry, sunny and warmer weather through much of next week. However, unsettled weather with rain chances arrive by next Saturday.
Air Quality: Good
Overnight: Scattered rain chances continue through early Sunday morning, then will come to an end with gradual clearing by late afternoon especially inland. Lows in the low to upper 40s.
Sunday: Few lingering light rain showers early then cloudy and drier with slow clearing, especially inland. Clouds may linger at the coast. Highs still cool with 50s and low 60s.
Extended: High pressure will move in and bring pleasant weather for next week. High temperatures heading back to around normal on Monday and then above by Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect plenty of sunny skies then more unsettled weather once again for next weekend. Stay tuned!
