Sunday weather: No rain, still chilly overnight
Dry weather will continue Sunday as
higher pressure builds from the south. Lows will be in the 40s near the coast,
and 30s in valley locations and in the coastal hills. Some inland areas could
see widespread frost after midnight Saturday night. Sunday’s sunshine will be
filtered by passing high clouds. The next wet weather system should arrive on
Tuesday of next week.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy, becoming mostly cloudy overnight. Patchy
fog in the morning, with frost possible inland.
Sunday: Scattered high clouds. Highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s.
Light winds.
Extended: Conditions remain dry and mild for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
(Monday). The next system will arrive Monday night, bringing light to moderate
rain early Tuesday. Dry weather returns on Wednesday.
The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for January 25th – 31st calls
for the likelihood of near normal temperatures and near
normal precipitation.
