Six people displaced after early morning garage fire in Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV)- Watsonville Fire extinguished a garage fire that took place on Wednesday morning.

Watsonville Fire said they got to the 400 block of the McKenzie Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Firefighters told our reporters at the scene that all six people in the home got out safely.

Firefighters said there were no injuries and residents are currently getting connected to the American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
