Soledad and Pinnacles agencies rescue hiker in Pinnacles National Park

CENTRAL COAST, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Agencies from Soledad and Cal Fire BEU worked together to rescue a hiker in the western part of Pinnacles National Park on Saturday.

According to officials, Soledad Fire Department and Cal Fire BEU Pinnacles Crew One responded to a medical rescue at around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon. When responders arrived, they found a woman two miles off the trail with an injury on the western side of the park.

Both crews were able to get the woman back to the Chaparral Parking Lot safely and transport her to a local hospital to treat her injuries.
