Monterey Bay F.C. hosting two closed-door scrimmages this week

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV)- While the NFL season ended in heartbreak for many Central Coast fans, the futbol season will be kicking off in March for Monterey Bay F.C.

The Crisp and Kelp will continue their preseason schedule with two closed-door scrimmages this week. The first game will be against the team they share Cardinale Stadium with in the CSUMB Men's Soccer Team. That game will be played on Valentine's Day at 3 p.m.

The Otters went 12-5-4 this season which included a trip to the NCAA Division II Soccer Tournament.

In the second game, the Union will be taking on Napa Valley 1839 FC at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Napa Valley plays in the NPSL Golden Gate Conference where they made the National Quarter Finals.

Both games will be behind closed doors and will be streamed for subscribers on the club's Instagram which you can get here.
