Hollister Police investigating shooting involving one juvenile

HOLLISTER, CALIF. (KION-TV) - Hollister Police is asking for the communities help in looking for the suspect(s) of a shooting that took place on Tuesday.

At about 11:36 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots being fired on the 100 block of Third Street. When officers arrived, they found one male juvenile suffering from one gun shot wound. The victim was treated by both AMR and Hollister Fire, then taken to a nearby trauma center.

According to officials, the injuries are non-life threatening.

During the initial investigation, it was found that the victim was outside an apartment complex near the road. Witnesses gave a description of what looked like a pickup truck driving by when someone started firing multiple rounds at the victim. The vehicle, with an unknown number of people inside, then fled the scene.
