PACIFIC GROVE, CALIF. (KION-TV) - Pacific Grove Unified School District has announced several schools will be closed to power outages in the area.

According to officials, power hasn't been restored in these schools:

  • Forest Grove Elementary School
  • Pacific Grove High School
  • Community High School
  • Pacific Grove Adult School

Because PG&E hasn't given an estimated time for power to be restored to these schools, officials say instruction, extracurricular activities and sports will be canceled at these sites for today.

The district says administration will send an updated message to families no later than 7:00 pm today regarding the plan for Tuesday, February 6th.
