Pacific Grove Police identify two suspects allegedly involved in attempted homicide investigation

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif.- (KION-TV)- UPDATE ON DEC. 10, 2023 AT 12:06 PM- Pacific Grove Police have identified the two suspects who have been arrested in connection with an attempted homicide investigation.

Investigators identified the suspects as 18-year-old Ashley Aragon and 20-year-old Jennifer Javier-Ramirez of Seaside.

Police said that several people in masks including one with a gun were reported near Lovers Point Park around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 30.

Pacific Grove Police determined an attempted homicide incident occurred based on details from the victim and security footage.

According to Police, Aragon and Javier-Ramirez were arrested on Saturday Dec. 2 without incident.

Investigators said that Aragon and Javier-Ramirez both face a charge of conspiracy. Javier-Ramirez is also charged with vandalism.

We have reached to Pacific Grove Police for more information including whether they are searching for additional suspects involved in this investigation.

Two people arrested on attempted murder charges, police said

Pacific Grove Police said they have arrested two suspects on attempted murder charges following an incident at Lover's Point Park on Thursday.

Investigators said that people reported seeing several masked individuals including one with a gun shortly before 11:30 p.m.

Officers said the victim left the scene when they arrived.

Police said that that the victim later provided officers with more details about the incident which was backed up by security footage collected from the scene.

On Saturday morning, Pacific Grove Police were able to arrest two suspects without incident.
