Outage leaves nearly 2,000 PG&E customers without power in Santa Cruz County

Nearly 2,000 Pacific Gas and Electric customers are without power in Santa Cruz County Saturday night.

PG&E's outage map lists that the power outage started at 5:45 p.m. and affected 1,824 near Boulder Creek.

No word on what caused the outage or when power will be restored.

A PG&E assessment crew is reportedly en route to the outage.

We reached out to PG&E for more information on the electrical outage, but have not heard back yet.
