MPC hosts Hartnell on the gridiron

Entering the matchup the Panthers had sole possession of first place. After the Lobos emerged with the 40-20 victory, Monterey Peninsula is now tied with San Jose for first, while Hartnell moves to third place in the conference.

The first half proved to be a back-and-forth affair, but second half, it was the Lobos taking control. Monterey Peninsula's defense held Hartnell to only 7 points, while the offense posted another 31 points.

The Lobos improved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in conference.
