Did you feel it? 3.6 magnitude earthquake hits San Benito County

SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)-- Central Coast residents felt a shake on Saturday evening as an earthquake occurred along the San Andreas Fault.

It happened at 6PM with a preliminary magnitude of 3.6 and at a depth of around 5 miles. The epicenter was in the hills west of Highway 25 between Paicines and the Pinnacles.

According to the “Did You Feel It” reports on the United States Geological Survey website, people from Big Sur to Hollister to Soledad reported feeling the quake."
