Highway 9 at Fern Drive shut down due to power pole on fire
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- CHP Santa Cruz has shut down a portion of Highway 9 at Fern Drive after a power pole caught fire on Thursday.
The video shows flames across the bottom and top of the pole and smoke billowing out of the area.

CHP Santa Cruz confirms a vehicle crashed into the pole shortly before the fire started.
The CHP said no one was injured in the incident.
It's unclear when the road will be back open.
