Seaside Police enforcing new rules to prevent illegal fireworks
SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV)- Seaside Police is set to enforce new rules to curb illegal fireworks this year for the Fourth of July.
Officers say there will be a 10:00 p.m. curfew in place on Fourth of July. There will also be a no parking allowed along General Jim Moore Boulevard.
Police want to remind people that safe and sane fireworks will be the only ones allowed. All fireworks that leave the ground are illegal and could get you a $1,000 fine or a misdemeanor charge.
