Police arrested attempted homicide suspect out of Iowa

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (KION-TV)- Pacific Grove Police arrested a man who is wanted on attempted murder charges out of Iowa on Tuesday morning.

A Pacific Grove Commander told KION they assisted the United States Marshalls Services in a search warrant at Lovers Point Inn on 625 Ocean View Boulevard.

Police arrested 29-year-old Kevante Andrews who is wanted on attempted homicide charges out of Iowa.

Officers said that Andrews is currently in custody and will be booked into the Monterey County Jail. Police have cleared the scene.
