Officers looking for multiple suspects who stole multiple marijuana products in Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV)- The Watsonville Police Department are looking for multiple suspects who allegedly stole multiple marijuana products and a safe on Saturday morning.

Investigators said the incident took place on Saturday morning around 4 a.m. on the 0-100 block of Hangar Way.

Officers said that surveillance footage from the business showed the multiple suspects using an SUV to ram and break open the dispensary’s door

A spokesperson with the Watsonville Police Department said that multiple suspects stole thousands of dollars of marijuana products and a safe from another nearby business.

A Watsonville Police Officer arrived at the scene to set up a perimeter but the suspects got into different vehicles and sped off.

Watsonville Police said that they alerted multiple local agencies and the California Highway Patrol chased the SUV to Hayward. The suspects involved still remain outstanding per Police. The Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team has taken the lead on this investigation. If you have information on this case is asked to call 831-471-1151.
