REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KION-TV)- Multiple fire crews are responding to a fire at a recycling plant in Redwood City on Wednesday afternoon.

According to our San Francisco affiliate KPIX, the fire is burning at the SIMS Metal Recycling Plant located on the 600 block of Seaport Boulevard. A reporter at the scene said that smoke was first seen shortly before 3 p.m.

KPIX has reached out to the Redwood City Fire Department for information.
