Forward progress stopped on vegetation fire in front of Soledad Prison, firefighters say
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- Multiple fire crews are currently battling a vegetation fire in front of the Soledad Prison on Wednesday night.
An official with CAL FIRE confirmed to KION that the fire is taking place right in front of the Soledad Prison
A CAL FIRE battalion chief confirmed that they are two small spot fires currently. There is no word if there are any evacuations in the area.
