Man and woman arrested after leading Marina Police on a car chase that ended in Salinas
SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- Marina Police said that two suspects were arrested early Sunday morning after they led officers on a car chase that ended in Salinas.
According to a Marina Police Sergeant, the situation unfolded at the intersection of Reservation Road and California Avenue just before 1 a.m. Officers tried to initiate a traffic stop after discovering the man on the passenger side of the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant.

Investigators said that officers asked for assistance from the California Highway Patrol, Salinas Police and Monterey County Sheriff's Office.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle on the 500 block of North Main Street in Salinas. Investigators told KION that the woman rammed the vehicle into a Marina Police and Monterey County Sheriff's Office patrol car.
A Marina Police Sergeant told KION that both suspects were arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on multiple felony charges. The female suspect will face three counts of assault with a deadly weapon per Marina Police.
Investigators said that no officers suffered any injuries as a result of the incident.
