Six ducklings rescued from a storm drain in Salinas, firefighters said

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- The Salinas City Firefighters Union said they rescued six ducklings from a storm drain on Thursday morning.

Firefighters said that they were able to rescue six baby ducklings that were struck down in a storm drain on Rossi Circle.

Fire crews said that the mom of the ducks flew away.

The Salinas Firefighters Union said crews passed the ducklings off to the SPCA Monterey County where the ducklings will be raised and released back in the wild.
