Multiple pelicans rescued across Monterey County

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- The SPCA Monterey County has been busy rescuing multiple pelicans in the area.

Over the past two days, SPCA officials said they have rescued nine pelicans with more calls for help on Tuesday.

Some of the pelicans are showing up in distress along Alvarado Street in Monterye, parts of Moss Landing and Carmel Valley Road.

If you see a pelican or other animal in distress you can contact the SPCA Wildlife Center.
