West entrance of Pinnacles National Park to close on weekdays for paving project starting April 29

PAICINES, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Pinnacles National Park announced the westside entrance to the park will be closed for a paving project starting April 29.

Park staff said the west entrance will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays, plus on Fridays May 10 and May 17th.

As a result, Pinnacles National Park staff is warning visitors of delays at the east entrance that could last around 30 minutes between April and June.

The east entrance is not expected to be closed during this work.

The project is expected to re-pave every road and surface in the park to improve conditions for drivers and bicyclists.
