Caltrans: Northbound 101 onramp at San Miguel Canyon Road closed after big rig crash

PRUNEDALE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Caltrans District 5 announced the northbound Highway 101 onramp is closed because of a crash involving a big rig.

Caltrans says there's no time for reopening that part of the road.

KION also checked with CHP-Monterey who says they understand Caltrans is doing some road work there but was unaware of a crash being reported in the area.

The CHP says at this time, even if the crash was cleared, people should expect delays in the area.
