PG&E releases guidelines on how to qualify for an outage credit
CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION-TV)- If you have been without power for 48 hours then you might be able to qualify for a PG&E inconvenience payment.
The credit applies to PG&E residential customers. Company officials said payments range from $25 during a three-day span without power with a $100 maximum for 120 hours or more.
Customers who are eligible do not need to apply.
Payments are sent automatically to the account and are typically processed within 45 to 60 days.
