Man arrested for firearms burglary in Seaside

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV)- UPDATE ON FEB. 21 AT 6:38 PM- Seaside Police was able to arrest a man who has been on the run since Feb.9.

Officers said they arrested 42-year-old Robert King after they used FLOCK cameras and multiple home cameras from the community.

King was arrested in Salinas and confessed to the crime according to investigators.

Seaside Police said they were unable to find the guns and bike that were stolen.

King had been on the run since Feb. 9 when police got reports of several burglaries into homes on the 1900 block of Military Avenue.

Seaside Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a bike and multiple weapons from a home on Friday night

Investigators said the incidents took place on the 1900 block of Military Avenue when he attempted to break into multiple homes.

Officers said he allegedly stole a bike and multiple firearms from a garage.

Police are describing the suspect wearing a blue jacket with a blue hat, red paints and black shoes. Investigators say that the suspect could have a red or orange backpack at the time of the incidents.
