Central Coast 49ers fans heartbroken by Super Bowl loss

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- It was a heartbreaking end to the big game for the Central Coast’s diehard 49ers fans.

While fans here were disappointed by the outcome, many still had a great time at watch parties across the area.

The Pizza Factory on Natividad Road in Salinas was packed with local supporters of the Red and Gold.
The Niners Empire 831 organization put together this watch party complete with a DJ, raffle, and decked out 49ers cars. Everyone was on the edge of their seat with this neck-and-neck game.

"The game there was a nail biter. Well, like I said, we always got next year season we'll get them next time," said 49ers fan Bradley Watson.

Watch parties also took place at other businesses around Salinas including Dubbers, Heriloom Pizza, and the King’s Den.
