Big Basin Redwoods State Park closed on Wednesday due to heavy winds

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- The California State Parks announced that Big Basin Redwoods State Park will be closed on Wednesday due to projected high winds in the area.

The park is scheduled to reopen on Thursday once State Parks staff check the park for public safety concerns.

Visitors who had parking reservations at the park on Wednesday will get refunded.
