CAL FIRE contains acre fire near Soledad

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- CAL FIRE crews responded to reports of a wildfire burning near Soledad just beyond Foothill Road on Friday.

The fire was contained to an acre before crews got a handle on it. The cause is being investigated.

The humidity in the area was around 22% at the time of the fire according to our Weather Authority team at KION.
