Santa Cruz Police warn people to stay off Main Beach as they remove Bathroom #3

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Santa Cruz Police announced that throughout Friday, they will be working on removing the bathroom (Bathroom #3) that separated from the Santa Cruz Wharf and made its way down to the San Lorenzo River mouth.

They said that city staff will be working on removing Bathroom #3 from the area, and are asking for people to stay away from the beach as they do this.

Police also said that the beach remains closed for safety reasons.
