Gilroy Gardens to discuss resigning its lease with the City of Gilroy

GILROY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The City of Gilroy is hoping to renew its lease with Gilroy Gardens, according to a report from the city.

The report shows that Gilroy hasn't signed any additional amendments regarding the theme park lease since February 2023. The city says that the lease has been operating on a month-to-month basis since then.

Tuesday, council members are discussing creating a committee to address what needs to be on a new lease to incorporate changes that have taken place over the past 16 years.
