Highway 101 at San Miguel Canyon Road reopened Friday after storm cleanup

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The CHP Monterey announced Friday that they conducted emergency roadwork on Highway 101 that was originally scheduled until 3 p.m. due to the most recent storm.

The construction has since finished and both on- and off-ramps have been reopened on Highway 101 at San Miguel Canyon Road in Prunedale.

Caltrans was working Friday to clean the area to minimize flooding and enhance driver safety.
