House on Old Stage Road a ‘complete loss’ after roof collapses in fire
SALINAS, Calif. (KION) - A house fire caused a roof to collapse on Old Stage Road on Wednesday night, rendering the home a 'complete loss.'
Fire crews are working to contain the flames to the structure to prevent it from spreading to nearby vegetation.
North County Fire says the flames sparked in the home's attic before spreading and causing the roof to collapse.
North County Fire called for assistance from CAL FIRE to help contain the fire.
