Monterey County maximum enforcement numbers over Christmas; Monterey CHP

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Monterey County CHP released their maximum enforcement numbers Thursday for Christmas Eve night extending through Christmas night.

They said that within that 24-hour period, Monterey CHP issued:

10 speeding tickets
2 vehicle impounds
2 distracted driving tickets
1 ticket for following too close
2 seatbelt violation tickets
5 DUI arrests
5 non-DUI arrest
11 "other" tickets (non specified)
37 warnings
