Tuolumne County detectives investigate human remains

TWAIN HARTE, Calif. (AP) — The Tuolumne County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the identity of human remains found in a forested area. The remains were found Monday near Twain Harte. The Sheriff’s Office says the remains were in a ravine near a former golf course and were heavily decomposed. No other details have been released.
