6.8 earthquake strikes in southwest Japan

SALINAS, Calif. (KION)—A 6.8 earthquake rattled just off the coast in southwest Japan just after 7 a.m. ET.

There is no tsunami danger for the U.S. West Coast, British Columbia, or Alaska.
