BEIRUT (AP) — An Israeli official says that the Israeli military targeted Ibrahim Akil in an airstrike in Beirut. Akil is a senior Hezbollah military official. It wasn’t immediately clear if Akil was killed in the Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs. Lebanese health officials said that the strike on Friday killed at least three people and wounded 17 others.
