Sextortion arrest in Marina, suspect in L.A. County jail; police say

MARINA, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Marina police say that a Los Angeles man is facing charges following an investigation into allegations of sextortion involving a 16-year-old on social media.

According to police, the suspect is identified as 18-year-old Adrian Collazo-Marquez and has been served a search warrant on September 6. Local police say that they worked with Los Angeles police and the CDCR to issue the warrant.

At the time of his arrest, police say that Collazo-Marquez was in the process of child sexual abuse material.

He has been booked into L.A. County jail and will be extradited back to Monterey County, according to police.
