Vegetation fire burning in South Monterey County
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) – A vegetation fire near Parkfield is burning Friday morning. The fire is at least 15 acres with the possibility for 250 acres, according to CAL FIRE.
Smoke can be seen in the area. The fire is burning in grass and brush with a moderate rate of spread, according to CAL FIRE.
CAL FIRE says that right now no structures are threatened.
